The double spoilers on the back of the helmet contribute to the stability and aerodynamics of the helmet, they also serve as the air extractors that provide a constant airflow in the helmet, keeping it nice and cool for the rider. The removable and washable inner liner of the Spartan 1.2 has also undergone a significant improvement compared to its predecessor. A new design, and the use of renewed antibacterial materials result in a well isolating helmet with a comfortable fit. Ventilation openings on the chin and on top of the helmet in combination with the air extractors integrated in the double spoilers on the back of the helmet ensure a pleasant air circulation in the helmet.
As used to from Shark, the Spartan is also equipped with all kinds of extras. For example, the Spartan has a visor with Max Vision pinlock preparation in orderto maintain a clear and fogg free, maximum field of vision when the pinlock lens is installed. The internal sun visor of the Spartan is ideal in summer days and winter days where the sun is low. The helmet, like many other Shark helmets, is also equipped with the Shark Easyfit system, making it suitable to wear with glasses.
The Spartan is prepared for the Sharktooth communication system. Thanks to this preparation, the communication system can be integrated and connects seamlessly to the helmet. With a weight of only 1390 grams (+/- 50 g), the helmet is very light for its category, but nevertheless offers the rider an extremely high degree of safety. The material of the outershell is a very strong mix of carbon and multiacial fiber and the outer shell comes in two different sizes, so that the helmet always fits as compactly as possible around the head.
